Administers prescribed medications or starts intravenous fluids, and notes times and amounts on clients' charts. Answers clients' calls and determines how to assist them. Helps clients with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, moving in bed, and standing and walking. Measures and records clients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration. Observes clients, charting and reporting changes in clients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action. Provides basic client care.

Qualifications:

Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college AND current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse AND Six months of nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications - External:

Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college  or university AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND two years related professional work experience with Individuals having behavioral health and developmental disabilities is a plus, must have excellent written communication skills and computer competency, must be flexible with ability to work weekdays and weekends, working experience/knowledge with electronic medical records, demonstrate accountability, respectability, responsibility, and reliability.

Master’s degree in the social science discipline  and fully licensed as LPC or LCSW required, ability to facilitate substance abuse groups, crisis management skills, experience working with individual and group counseling to individuals with concurrent severe persistent mental illness and substance use disorders  for adults under the supervision of a State or superior court  at least two years experience working in counseling, case management, and treatment planning,  required experience and/or certificate of various insurance  company panels,and good computer skills, demonstrate accountability, respectability, responsibility and reliability.
