Under broad supervision, plans, organizes and manages the operation of the billing functions such as preparation and distribution of invoices, third party payers, preparing claims and posting cash receipts. Analyzes complex billing data and prepares reports for revenue and expenses and other statistical data. Analyzes and reconciles accounts data and transactions. Assesses the efficiency of billing and accounts receivable services and develops and implements process improvements. Compiles financial information from all components and develops integrated revenue/expense analyses and reports. Coordinates all components to ensure consistent reporting and adherence to federal and state financial reporting regulations and guidelines. Directs the operation, implementation and maintenance of financial systems or equipment (ie fiscal information systems, bookkeeping or recording systems, cash registers or terminals, etc). Monitors billing and accounts receivable accounting system. Oversees the collection, compilation, and analysis of billing data and the preparation of related reports. Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED AND Two years of experience supervising staff responsible for billing, budget or accounting activities OR Three years of experience performing billing functions.

Preferred Qualifications - External: 

Associate degree in medical billing and healthcare administration OR a high school diploma AND a  certificate in healthcare coding billing/bookkeeping, One year of experience required in generating bills for reimbursement, familiar with insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid, process and follow up on payer denials, consulting with the patient and/or his or her family as needed,  research and resolve client billing problems or issues, post payments in a timely manner, knowledge in insurance claims and reconciliation a plus, must be proficient with spreadsheet and databases, effective customer service skills and team player,demonstrate accountability, respectability, responsibility and reliability.:

Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND eligibility to be licensed AND Two years of supervised experience in the area of assignment.

Preferred Qualifications - External: 

Master’s degree in the social science discipline  and fully licensed as LPC or LCSW required, ability to facilitate substance abuse groups, crisis management skills, experience working with individual and group counseling to individuals with concurrent severe persistent mental illness and substance use disorders  for adults under the supervision of a State or superior court  at least two years experience working in counseling, case management, and treatment planning,  required experience and/or certificate of various insurance  company panels,and good computer skills, demonstrate accountability, respectability, responsibility and reliability.

Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college  or university AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND two years related professional work experience with Individuals having behavioral health and developmental disabilities is a plus, must have excellent written communication skills and computer competency, must be flexible with ability to work weekdays and weekends, working experience/knowledge with electronic medical records, demonstrate accountability, respectability, responsibility, and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications - External: 

Master's degree in the helping field i.e. social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy. Licensed (LPC/LCSW  required), experience working with MH/SA population completing family intakes, experience conducting groups, behavioral health assessments, counseling and/or psychotherapy,  all candidates must possess good  documentation skills and  have working  experience with CareLogic system,  and  demonstrate accountability, respectability, responsibility and reliability.
