Comprehensive programs for persons with mental retardation and developmental disabilities

 

Developmental Disability services offer services to individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. To be eligible for services, an individual must have a diagnosis of mental retardation before the age of 18 or a developmental disability of a  neurologically disabling condition, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and autism before the age of 22.

Family Support Services

  • Financial assistance for services and goods to care for a family member with a developmental disability in the home.


Residential Services

Respite Care

  • Short term care for a  person with a developmental disability which enables parent/caregiver to receive a break from caretaker responsibilities
